fanciful flight! :: plumed serpent window display

We had the absolute honor of being asked by my friend and store owner of The Plumed Serpent Bridal in Westport, CT to be the featured Wedding Planner for their July window display! What?! To have our designs in a window next to a couture dress ... Uh CHEEEEEYYYYAAAH!

As well as joining talented names in the wedding industry such as Ashley Douglass of Ashley Douglass Events and Sarah Taggart of A Polished Plan, we were more than excited to start creating!

Below is just a few of the amazing photographs taken by Neil Landino of LandinoPhoto ImageStudio of our purty table. :)

The Menu, Table Number and Escort Board were all designed by the talented Sandy Shannon of Roseville Designs with vintage flatware provided by Chris Hickey of The Spread Restaurant in South Norwalk, CT.

... Little Random Details made the super awesome birds nest favors {those are soap}! And of course the beautiful flowers are from Flowers by Danielle! With the ladies at Abbey Tent and Party Rental rounding out the design team, everything just came together.

The Plumed Serpent Bridal is located in the heart of downtown Westport, Connecticut at 295 Post Road East. Call those ladies today and make an appointment to find your perfect wedding gown!

Happy Planning!

put color and song in the air :: erna & richard

Erna + Richard's love story at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, CT will always be one for the books! We met this beautiful couple a little over a year before their June 7th wedding and started the planning and design process. Erna's ideas were so creative and we couldn't wait to help her turn them into her dream wedding! Richard, well ... he was at EVERY single vendor meeting, florist appointment, design meeting, you name it! He even called me in a panic one morning to meet him at the tailor's to make sure the color on his pocket square matched! :) He was such a hands-on groom and you knew his first priority was to make Erna smile.

Getting to know this couple was so fun! Both in the medical field, Richard explains Erna must have thought he was stealing / selling prescription medicine on the side as he was ordering so many from the hospital pharmacy just to see her! He finally asked her on a date one brave day ... and here we are!

This blog post is dedicated to Erna's late father, Ernest Lindain who passed away a few months before their wedding. He was definitely there in spirit!

Gorgeous before shots were taken by the amazing husband and wife team of TimeFrozen Photography to help ease the wedding day jitters. Only one word to describe the bride, STUNNING!

... fresh and beautiful floral details were provided by Flowers by Danielle for the ceremony and reception ...

Tropical Storm? What Tropical Storm?!

And one last dance to cap off the night!
